Eduard — Mirage F.1CT/CR masking set 1:48

This is not a model of the aircraft, but a set of self-adhesive painting masks from Eduard, intended for building a model of the French Dassault Mirage F.1CT/CR fighter in 1:48 scale. The masks are precisely pre-cut from yellow kabuki tape, so they fit the shapes of the canopy glazing frames and the wheel rims of one particular kit exactly.

Use

• Peel the individual parts off the sheet carefully and stick them onto the canopy glass and the tires.
• Spray the masked areas with an airbrush or with spray paint.
• Once the paint is dry, peel the mask off and you have clean, sharp frame edges and the tires neatly separated from the rims.
• Kabuki tape holds its shape, follows curved surfaces and leaves no adhesive behind.

The Mirage F.1 is a single-engine supersonic fighter from the French company Dassault. The F.1CT version served as a fighter-bomber and the F.1CR as the reconnaissance variant. The aircraft is recognizable by its swept wing and it was in service for many years with the French Air Force and with a number of foreign operators.
