An injection-molded plastic kit of the French fighter Dassault Mirage IIIC in 1:48 scale from Hobby Boss. The model has a finely engraved surface texture, a detailed cockpit with glazing and the characteristic delta wing. The large 1:48 format brings out the elegant silhouette as well as the underwing stores.
The Mirage IIIC was the first main production version of the famous Mirage III family from the French firm Dassault. It was a single-seat interceptor with a delta wing, powered by an Atar jet engine. The machine took to the air at the beginning of the 1960s and became one of the most successful French fighters of the Cold War; a number of countries operated it and it proved itself in combat as well.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. First assemble and paint the cockpit, then close the fuselage; mask the glazing and paint the frames separately. Apply a primer before painting. Paint the underwing pylons and the stores separately. An airbrush and a fine wash into the engraved lines suit both the French camouflage schemes and a natural metal finish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
