The 3D printed (resin) detail set A6M2 Zero landing flaps in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Eduard. Lowered flaps with fine texture for Eduard Zero kits; it is not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a 3D printed resin detail set from the Brassin line, not an aircraft model. The set replaces the plastic landing flaps of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero fighter with a truer rendering of their internal rib structure and is intended for A6M2 kits in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Eduard. The flaps can be fitted in the lowered position, which gives a model on its stand a livelier look. Alongside the 3D printed parts there is usually a small photo-etched fret for the finest details.
The A6M Zero was the standard carrier fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service during the Second World War. It was famous for its exceptional range and agility, paid for by a light structure without armor. Lowered flaps reveal the internal structure of the wing, which is only suggested in plastic.
For modelers building the Eduard A6M2 Zero who want to bring out the opened wing with lowered flaps. Working with 3D printed resin calls for care and super glue.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package. Use a respirator and ventilate when sanding resin.
