Eduard 1:48 OV-10D+ TFace is a set of pre-cut masks for the extensive glazing of the Bronco in 1:48 scale. The TFace version covers the outer as well as the inner side of the glazing.

A masking set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the OV-10D+ Bronco observation and light attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit nor a photo-etched set — these are self-adhesive templates die-cut to the shape of the glazing, which are used during painting and then thrown away. The TFace designation means that the package holds masks for both sides of the glazing, so for the inner side of the frames as well.
The Bronco has one of the most demanding cockpits you can meet in this scale: tandem seating, glazing drawn deep along the sides and down below the pilot's feet, and plenty of narrow frames on top of that. Cutting masks for such a greenhouse by hand means many hours of work with the certainty that at least one cut will go wrong. Because through all of that the cockpit can be seen practically from every side, an unpainted inside of the frames shows here too, and the basic single-sided variant does not deal with that. That is exactly why the double-sided version makes sense on this subject.
First mask the inner side and spray the interior shade, and only then cover the outside and spray the exterior color. Degrease the glazing beforehand, lay the templates with tweezers and press the edges down with a toothpick. On large areas it pays to cover the rest of the glazing between the templates with a piece of ordinary masking tape or with masking fluid, to save paint and to keep overspray from arising. Take the masks off as soon as the paint is dry to the touch.
The masks are an accessory for the model, not a kit. Neither the model nor paints are included in the package.
