The photo-etched set P-40N landing flaps in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Eduard. Metal parts for building realistic, lowered flaps for the Warhawk: this is not a model of the aircraft but a detailing accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailing photo-etched accessory, not a model of the aircraft. The set brings thin photo-etched metal parts from which you build faithful landing flaps for the Curtiss P-40N Warhawk fighter. The real flaps have a fine ribbed and perforated structure that injection-molded plastic can only suggest; photo-etch captures it in the true thickness of sheet metal. You can also fit the flaps in the lowered position, which gives a model on the ground a lively look. The set is shaped for the P-40N kit in 1:48 and is made by the Czech firm Eduard.
The Curtiss P-40N was one of the last and lightest production versions of the Warhawk, used mainly in the Pacific and in Burma. It was a capable late variant with a lightened structure and a better rate of climb. Lowered flaps are a common and photogenic detail on parked aircraft.
For modelers building the P-40N in 1:48 who want realistic flaps, ideally lowered. Working with fine photo-etch assumes some experience.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
