A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks made of thin kabuki film in 1:48 scale, for painting the American national insignia on the fighter P-40N Warhawk. This is neither a model nor decals, but an aid for cleanly and sharply painting the stars and bars directly with paint. The masks are designed for the P-40N kit from Czech manufacturer Eduard.
Position the kabuki masks precisely on the model's surface, press them down, and cover the surrounding areas. Then apply the insignia color with an airbrush or brush; once dry, carefully peel off the mask, leaving a sharp, precise outline without seepage. Painting the insignia instead of using decals gives an even matte surface without a decal's glossy film and without the risk of silvering.
This is a masking set for painting, not an aircraft model. Paints and the kit are not included in the package.
