Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not an aircraft model but a cockpit accessory. It contains 3D-printed decals of the seat belts matching the early production versions of the American Republic P-47D Thunderbolt fighter in 1:48 scale. The belts are applied as a decal, so the modeler has to neither bend photo-etched parts nor paint the belts. The manufacturer is Art Scale, and the sets are usually marked with the abbreviation ASK.
The P-47 Thunderbolt was one of the largest and heaviest single-engine fighters of the Second World War. It was powered by a Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp radial engine with a turbocharger housed in the rear fuselage, and its armament was 12.7 mm machine guns in the wings. The P-47D version was built in many production blocks; the early blocks still kept the raised spine behind the cockpit, while the later ones got a bubble canopy. The cockpit equipment differed between blocks, which is why the seat belt sets are distinguished as well.
Paint the seat first and go over it with a gloss varnish so that the decal beds down without silvering. Dip the part briefly in lukewarm water, let it stand and slide it into place with tweezers. Use a decal softener only very cautiously - 3D decals have a thicker layer than ordinary ones. Once dry, even the surface out with a matte varnish and, if you like, pick the buckles out with a fine dry brush.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
