A color photo-etched set from the Czech brand Eduard in the Zoom line for plastic models of the P-47M Thunderbolt fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory that refines the cockpit. The parts are printed in color and self-adhesive.
The P-47M was the fast late version of the American Thunderbolt fighter with a boosted powerplant, used at the close of the Second World War. Its roomy cockpit shows off color photo-etched detail well.
The set brings a color instrument panel, side panels and the seat harness. Separate the self-adhesive parts with tweezers and press them onto a degreased surface; metal parts without adhesive are attached with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The parts are small, so work with a sharp knife.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package; the set calls for a matching base kit in that scale.
