The resin accessory propellers with a jig for the P-61A/B Black Widow from the Czech brand Quickboost in 1:48 scale — a part, not a model kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from Quickboost in 1:48 scale offers faithfully cast propellers for a model of the American Northrop P-61A/B Black Widow night fighter. It is not an airplane kit, but a set of replacement parts: the set holds the propeller blades, the hubs and a small jig (template) that helps set the blades into the hubs at the correct angle and with symmetrical spacing.
The P-61 Black Widow was an American twin-engine night fighter of the Second World War with a twin-boom tail, the first machine of the US Army Air Forces developed from the outset as a carrier of onboard radar. It was powered by two radial engines with four-blade propellers. Faithful blades and hubs are among the striking elements of the front of both engine nacelles.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water because of the mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutter, sand the surfaces and protect your breathing when sanding resin. Set the blades into the hubs using the jig supplied and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting so that the color holds.
It is supplied as a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not as a stand-alone kit. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
