Kits-World 1:48 Panavia Tornado GR.4 3D color instrument panels with active displays is a decal set of panels for the two-seat cockpit in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Color decals with a raised relief intended for the instrument panels of the Tornado GR.4 in 1:48 scale, in the version with the screens lit. This is neither a kit nor a resin cockpit; the set adds a color, contoured instrument panel surface to parts that are already in the box.
The Tornado has a crew of two and the front and rear cockpits differ in their instruments, so this is not the same panel twice over. Do not mix the decals up during the build, and dry-fit each part against its own panel before applying it; swapped panels show on a finished model. It also pays to spray and varnish both stations in one step, so that the shade of the base and the gloss of the glazing come out the same.
Sand the panel smooth, otherwise every remnant of a molded instrument will show under the thin film. Spray a dark base and gloss varnish over it; without the gloss interlayer the film will silver and the colors go gray. Settle the decal and, before you fix it down, check its position against the edge of the panel and against the instrument placard. Dose the softener drop by drop, let it work and leave the decal undisturbed for at least 45 minutes; running a brush over a relief decal crumples it. Matte varnish last of all, but strictly away from the instrument glazing and the displays: in the active screens version their gloss is the main thing that should show.
The box holds decals only. It does not include the kit, paints, varnish or decal softener.
