Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Polish escort destroyer ORP Krakowiak in her 1944 condition, in 1:700 scale from IBG. The model is a waterline version and is supplemented with a photo-etched fret for the fine detail. It includes detailed decks, superstructures, the complete armament, boats, a crane, masts and yards.
ORP Krakowiak was a British Hunt class escort destroyer (type II) that served with the Polish Navy during the Second World War. The ship was originally built for the Royal Navy under the name HMS Silverton and was then handed over to a Polish crew. The subject belongs to the naval history of its period.
A waterline model works well both in a display cabinet and on a sea diorama. Glue the photo-etched railings, ladders and stairs with cyanoacrylate glue. A primer, an airbrush coat and bringing out the detail with a wash are all recommended; the fine decks will come alive after a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
