Firma49 PPSh-41 Shpagin 1:48 is a resin, 3D printed set of small replicas of the Soviet submachine gun for dioramas and figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin (3D printed) set of miniature weapons in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Firma49. It is not a kit but a fine accessory for bringing a scene to life and for arming figures. Even in this small scale the print keeps the characteristic silhouette of the submachine gun.
The PPSh-41 was a Soviet submachine gun of the Second World War, designed by Georgy Shpagin as a simple weapon that was cheap to produce for mass use by the Red Army. It fired the 7.62x25 mm Tokarev round, fed from a drum or a curved magazine, and became one of the most widespread symbols of the Eastern Front.
Resin can be sanded, drilled and cut. Because of the small dimensions, handle the parts carefully; before lifting them off the supports, dip them in hot water, which softens the material so that it does not chip. Clean them in lukewarm water with detergent, bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and apply a primer. Protect your airways while sanding.
The set contains resin accessories, not paints, glue or figures, unless stated otherwise.
