This product is a colored photo-etched Zoom set from the Czech maker Eduard. It concentrates on the most visible features of the cockpit of a plastic model of the Dassault Rafale C fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a compact self-adhesive set that lifts the look of the cockpit quickly and strikingly.
Zoom sets are a selection from a larger interior set; they hold mainly color-printed self-adhesive parts such as the instrument panel, the side panels and the seat belts. They are ideal for modelers who want a marked improvement in the cockpit with a minimum of work and without extensive assembly of small parts.
The self-adhesive colored parts are transferred with tweezers and stuck onto a prepared base; it is a good idea to even the base out with a dark color first. The work is quicker than with a full interior set, but it still pays to work calmly and with good lighting.
