Eduard 1:48 Remove Before Flight is a photo-etched set of flags bearing the words Remove Before Flight for models of modern aircraft. It is a detail accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains miniature warning flags and streamers bearing the words Remove Before Flight. It is not an aircraft kit, but a detail accessory that completes the look of a parked machine. The parts are pre-printed, so the vividly red flags with their lettering do not have to be painted.
On real aircraft these flags mark safety pins, intake covers, landing gear locks, weapons and sensors, so that the ground crew removes them before takeoff. On a model, or in a diorama with the machine on its stand, these small details give an immediate authentic sense of an aircraft in service. The pattern is universal and suits models of modern jet aircraft in 1:48 scale.
Separate the flags carefully from the fret and fold them along the marked bend, so that you get a double-sided printed tag with a streamer. They are glued with a tiny drop of cyanoacrylate glue or of glue made for photo-etch. Place them at the pins, covers and pylons where they hang on the real machine.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
