Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet fighter MiG-23M in 1:48 scale from Trumpeter. It is a sizeable, detailed model with a generous part count. The box contains plastic and clear parts, a photo-etched fret, decals and a range of underwing weapons, so you can build a striking Cold War machine straight from the box.
The MiG-23 was a Soviet fighter designed as the successor to the MiG-21, and its most distinctive feature was the variable-sweep wing, which allowed three basic settings for different flight regimes. The M version was among the widespread variants and it was one of the first Soviet fighters whose radar could track and engage targets flying below the aircraft. The MiG-23 served in many countries including European armies.
Use thin cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Finish the detailed cockpit before closing the fuselage. Think out whether you will build the wings fixed or movable, and plan the layout of the underwing armament. Apply primer before varnishing and lay the colors on with an airbrush. Camouflage as well as desert schemes come out best after fine highlighting of the panel lines.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
