It is not a kit but a ready-made cockpit accessory: a color resin instrument panel that only needs taking out, cleaning up and gluing in place of the plastic part from the kit. Sets in this range tend to be completed with steel seat belts. The maker is the Czech brand Eduard from Obrnice near Most.
The Canadair Sabre is the Canadian licensed version of the North American F-86 Sabre jet fighter, built in Montreal. The version designated Sabre F.4 in British service was the interim equipment of a number of squadrons before home-built types replaced them. It was a single-engine subsonic aircraft with a swept wing and a characteristic nose air intake. On this type the instrument panel is markedly visible under the one-piece hinged canopy, so color detail shows on a finished model.
First wash the resin parts in warm water with a drop of detergent: mold release agent residue prevents both glue and varnish from adhering. Cut the casting block off with a saw or a cutting disc and level the surface on sandpaper; do the sanding of resin wet and with respiratory protection. Do not overspray the color printed surface of the panel and do not run thinner over it. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before you glue the part in, dry-fit it to see how it sits in the fuselage: the whole molded area of the plastic original usually has to be sanded away.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
