A resin accessory from the manufacturer Pilot Replicas: type 1 drop tanks with end fins for a model of the Swedish fighter SAAB J29 Tunnan in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but detail parts – the tanks are supplied as a pair and complete the underwing equipment of the aircraft.
The SAAB J29 Tunnan was a Swedish jet fighter of the late 1940s with a characteristic rounded fuselage, which earned it the nickname the flying barrel. The underwing drop tanks extended its range and belong inseparably to the type.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and clean the surfaces up. They glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways while sanding and lay on a base before painting.
The accessory holds only the resin tanks (a pair). The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
