This item is an accessory set of replacement wheels for the kit of the German Sd.Kfz.234 Puma heavy armored car in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of the vehicle, nor a finished model - it is an aftermarket accessory from the Czech maker Hauler that replaces the wheels from the box and is cut for the Tamiya or Italeri kit.
On armored cars the wheels are among the most conspicuous elements of a model. The vehicle has all its wheels driven and the tires are large, so the eye finds them before anything else. The parts from the box tend to be split down the axis, they have a visible parting seam right across the tread pattern, and once it has been sanded the pattern is often damaged. Replacement wheels get round that problem - they come with a clean tread pattern and with sharper engraving on the sidewall, which is a marked difference seen close up and in a photograph alike.
Before fitting them, check that the replacement wheel seats on the pin or into the fork of the kit - widen any hole carefully with a drill bit, and never force it. If you want to suggest a loaded vehicle, a flat can be sanded on the lower part of the tire, but on an eight-wheeled chassis it has to be done the same on every wheel, or the model will stand crooked. When painting, first spray the whole wheel in the shade of the tire and then mask the rim off with a circular mask or paint it with a brush. Never make tires black - a dark gray shade looks far more credible in the scale. At the end add dust and dirt into the tread pattern.
