This is a detailed resin ACES II ejection seat in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory that replaces the simplified plastic seat from a base kit with a faithful resin replica. The ACES II seat is used in a whole range of American combat aircraft, among others in the A-10 Thunderbolt II and the F-15 Eagle. The ACES II (Advanced Concept Ejection Seat) is the standard American ejection seat fitted in many types of jet aircraft. Its characteristic shape, belts and survival equipment are clearly visible on models in 1:32 scale, so a faithful rendering markedly lifts the impression of an open cockpit.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, separate the casting block and check the seating in the particular cockpit. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Spray the seat in the corresponding shades, set the belts and the padding apart in color, and bring out the details with a wash and a dry brush.
