This detail set in 1:48 scale from the Quickboost brand is not a stand-alone model, but an addition for refining a build of the Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 fighter-bomber. It holds resin wing cannon barrels with a faithful profile, which will replace the simplified and vulnerable plastic parts from the kit.
The Hawker Sea Fury was a British carrier fighter of the late 1940s, one of the fastest production aircraft with a piston engine. The FB.11 version, that is, a fighter-bomber, served in the ground attack role and carried its armament in the form of wing cannons. The cannon barrels are a small but visually striking detail of the leading edge of the wing.
Separate the resin barrels carefully from the casting block and glue them in with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The parts are small, so work with tweezers and take care over correct alignment. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
