Set of TIE-DOWN CROSS deck tie-down points 1:48

This is not an aircraft model but a fine resin (3D-printed) accessory for dioramas and display bases. The set holds cross-shaped tie-down anchors recessed into the deck, to which a parked aircraft is lashed with chains and turnbuckles. In 1:48 scale they bring a convincing operational detail to a deck scene.

Use

  • Fitting the deck of an aircraft carrier with cross-shaped tie-down points.
  • Realistic anchoring of an aircraft in a diorama.
  • Also suited to ground parking and display scenes.

Usage tips

  • Wash the parts free of print resin residue and let them dry.
  • Separate them from the print supports and clean them up.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • Wear respiratory protection while sanding.

The accessory is supplied as a resin casting, unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.

FAQ

Resin cross-shaped tie-down anchors for finishing a deck. The aircraft model and the chains are not included.

Separate them from the print supports and use super glue (cyanoacrylate); ordinary cement for plastic does not hold.
