1:48 Siebel Si-204/Aero C-3 Mechanic (engine repair) is a resin figure of a mechanic working on an engine.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of an aircraft mechanic caught at work on an engine, in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a scene. The figure is modeled in a working pose, so it makes sense beside a machine with the engine cowling open, by a ladder or at a mobile platform. The figure was developed for the Si 204 aircraft and its postwar Czechoslovak form, the Aero C-3.
Cut the parts from the casting blocks with a fine saw and sand the cut surface down. Wash the resin in lukewarm water with detergent before painting because of the mold release agent residue. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the figure separately on a stick and set it into the scene only at the end. A mechanic's working clothes will take more dirt and grease stains than a pilot's uniform, and that is exactly what gives the figure its credibility. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
