A resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard from the Brassin line. It contains the advanced Sniper ATP targeting pod in 1:48 scale, completed with photo-etched parts and decals. It is an accessory for the external stores of models of modern combat aircraft rather than a standalone kit.
The Sniper ATP (Advanced Targeting Pod) is a modern targeting pod with an infrared sensor and a laser designator, which makes tracking and precise guidance of weapons possible even in poor visibility. A number of present-day Western tactical aircraft carry it.
Wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut the casting blocks off and sand with respiratory protection. Bond the resin as well as the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a base before painting; bring out the sensor windows with a gloss varnish and apply the decals onto a smooth surface.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
