SR-71A Blackbird EXPERT — kabuki masks (1:48, New Ware) cover the cabin glazing and the wheels for clean paintwork on the legendary reconnaissance aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut masks of kabuki paper from the manufacturer New Ware in 1:48 scale for the supersonic Lockheed SR-71A Blackbird reconnaissance aircraft. The EXPERT guise is the most complete range of masks: it covers the cabin glazing including the inner frames and the seals, further clear parts and the wheels.
The masks are lifted out of the sheet with tweezers, seated precisely on the model and sprayed over with paint. Kabuki paper follows rounded surfaces and comes off easily once the paint has dried, without damaging the finish. It is an accessory for painting, not a kit.
The accessory holds neither a model nor paints. The masks serve for masking while spraying the corresponding model.
