1:48 S.Spitfire FR Mk.XIV Painting Mask (AIRFIX)

Painting masks for the Spitfire FR Mk.XIV 1:48 (SX-Art)

This set of precisely cut self-adhesive masking films from SX-Art makes painting a model of the fighter and reconnaissance version of the Supermarine Spitfire FR Mk.XIV in 1:48 scale easier. The masks are cut to the shape of the canopy glazing and of the other areas intended, so the canopy frames can be separated from the transparent parts quickly and with crisp edges, without the lengthy taping. It is neither a paint nor a kit, but an aid for painting. The set is cut for the Airfix kit.

Use

• Peel the masks off the sheet and lay them exactly on the glazing, and on the wheels or other areas intended where relevant.
• Press the edges down so that no paint bleeds under them, and spray with an airbrush.
• Once the paint has dried, remove the masks carefully; crisp, clean edges remain.

Who it is for

• Modelers who want to separate the canopy frames from the glazing cleanly.
• Builders who use an airbrush and will appreciate the saving of time compared with tape.

This is a masking aid, not a paint and not a kit. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
