A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. The set brings precisely cast air scoops for the Soviet twin-engine Sukhoi Su-15 interceptor in 1:48 scale. It replaces the plastic parts from the box with more accurate resin castings with open mouths. The part is meant for advanced modelers with resin experience.
The cooling and venting inlets on the fuselage of the Su-15 are usually blanked off or coarsely suggested in plastic. The resin castings have cleanly open mouths and finer edges, so once fitted they bring the surface of the model to life and raise its accuracy. It is a small but visually telling refinement of the surface detail of a classic Cold War interceptor.
