Eduard 1:48 Su-27 seat belts STEEL are pre-colored photo-etched safety belts in steel for filling out the cockpit of the model of a Soviet fighter aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but a supplementary set of pre-colored photo-etched seat belts in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. It belongs to the steel STEEL line - the belts are etched from thin steel sheet and printed with colors from the factory, including the buckles and the straps. Once separated from the fret they only need bending into shape and seating on the ejection seat. Steel holds a bend better than brass, so the result comes across naturally.
The Sukhoi Su-27 (Flanker in the NATO code) is a heavy twin-engine fighter aircraft of Soviet design from the 1980s with outstanding agility and a long range. Its roomy cockpit with an ejection seat offers noticeably more faithful detail once the belts have been added.
Separate the belts with a sharp knife and clean the fret tab remnant up. Use a bending tool or two blades for the bending. They are glued with super glue laid on in a micro drop. The print can be gently brought to life with a dark wash in the recesses.
This is an accessory for a cockpit, not a model in its own right. Glue and a kit are not included in the package.
