The Su-30MKK is the two-seat multirole version of the heavy Su-27 series fighter, intended to carry out both air and ground tasks at long range. It is marked by a twin-engined layout, great range and a wide choice of external stores. The MKK version was developed for an export customer and became one of the widely used members of the Flanker family.
Given the size of the model, build it in subassemblies. Paint and bring out the roomy cockpit for both crew members and the landing gear bays before closing up; glue the glazing with cement for canopies. Assemble and paint the external stores separately and fit them at the end. Modern aircraft carry gray low-reflectance finishes - these cover best with an airbrush; bring out the panel lines with a wash.
