The Su-30 is a twin-engine two-seat multirole aircraft derived from the Su-27 design family. The crew sit one behind the other and both stations have their own instrumentation, so a great deal of the interior is visible on a model. The MKK designation is tied to an export version, and the set is aimed at its cockpit.

The instruments, the labels and the division of the panels are printed in color at the factory, the element has relief of its own and it replaces the flat decal supplied with a kit. On a two-seat aircraft that saving of work tells twice over, because the hand painting of dials falls away at both stations. The exact extent of the parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions. The thin film does not increase the thickness of the panel, so it gets in the way neither when the canopy seats nor when the cockpit is fitted into the fuselage.
The QD range is applied like a classic decal. Cut the element from the sheet, leave it for about fifteen seconds in lukewarm water and slide it off the backing paper into place, because it has no adhesive layer of its own. The surface beneath the element should be degreased, painted and covered with a gloss varnish such as Future, Klear or Tamiya X-22, on which the element holds reliably. Straighten the part with a brush and press it down with a soft tool so that it seats into the recesses too, where a drop of cyanoacrylate glue will secure it. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they would attack the printed resin.
The set suits modelers who build with an open canopy and want both cockpits at the same level of detail. Check what kit it is intended for in the manufacturer's instructions. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
