A photo-etched set for detailing the cockpit and the interior of a model of the Su-35 fighter in 1:48 scale. It contains fine brass parts - instrument panels, consoles, levers and other features that raise the realism of the pilot's space considerably compared with bare plastic. It is an accessory for Su-35 models, not an aircraft kit.
The Su-35 is a modern Russian multirole fighter of the 4++ generation, developed from the Su-27 Flanker family. It is notable for its thrust-vectoring engines, a powerful radar and a large load of fuel and armament. The roomy cockpit with large displays is a rewarding place for detailing.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife on a cutting mat and make the bends over a ruler or in a photo-etch bending tool. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with a thin glue for photo-etch. The instrument faces come into their own once painted and lightly dry-brushed; finish the interior before closing the fuselage.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
