This set is NOT a model of an aircraft but a detailed resin accessory intended for models of the Su-27 in 1:48 scale. The cast wheels correspond to the late standard of the landing gear and replace the plastic parts with more faithful tires and rims. The set is meant for more experienced modelers.
The Su-27 stands on robust landing gear with large wheels, which are conspicuous on a finished model. Resin tires have a realistic tread and a cleaner shape of the rim than injection-molded plastic; the late standard may differ from the earlier one in details of the rims, so choose according to the subject being built. The parts are designed as a direct replacement.
Wash the wheels free of the mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with superglue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. Choose a dark gray shade for the tires, separate the rims with a mask or a brush and add a fine patina.
This is an add-on set, not a complete kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
