Eduard 1:48 Ta 152H painting masks are precisely shaped self-adhesive masks for easy, clean painting of the glazing and other areas of a model of the German Ta 152H fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of Eduard painting masks is intended for a plastic model of the German Focke-Wulf Ta 152H high-altitude fighter in 1:48 scale. The masks are die-cut from thin kabuki film, which follows the shape of the cockpit frames and the other parts exactly, so that spraying gives you crisp, straight transitions without laborious cutting of adhesive tape. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory that makes painting one easier.
The Focke-Wulf Ta 152H was a German high-altitude interceptor from the end of the Second World War, developed from the proven Fw 190. It was notable for markedly lengthened wings for flight at great altitude and a supercharged V engine. It entered combat only in the last months of the war and in small numbers, yet it ranks among the technically most advanced piston fighters of its day.
Lift the masks carefully off the sheet and move them onto clean glazing with tweezers, pressing them firmly against the edges of the frames. Spray in thin coats, so that paint does not run under the edge of a mask. Once dry, remove the masks gently. We recommend using an airbrush and a good primer.
These are painting masks, not a model. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
