Painting masks for the TA-4 Skyhawk in 1:48 scale from Eduard. Kabuki masks for accurate masking of the cabin glazing and the wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Eduard for the two-seat Douglas TA-4 Skyhawk trainer. The masks are pre-cut from yellow Japanese kabuki tape and serve to mask the cabin glazing and the wheels while paints are sprayed on. It is not a model: the kit itself has to be obtained separately.
The TA-4 was the two-seat training version of the American light carrier-based Douglas A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft. It kept the compact structure and the good flying qualities of the base type and served for pilot training and as an aircraft for air combat practice. The lengthened tandem cabin has more extensive glazing, which calls for careful masking during painting.
For modelers building the TA-4 Skyhawk in 1:48 scale who want clean paint edges on the glazing and the wheels.
This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
