They Fought to Rebuild is a limited DUAL COMBO edition from Eduard in 1:48 scale holding two complete kits of the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This limited edition from Eduard is of the DUAL COMBO type, which means that the package holds two complete injection-molded plastic kits of the British Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb fighter in 1:48 scale. The edition is dedicated in theme to the Czechoslovak pilots who flew Spitfires in the ranks of the Royal Air Force (RAF) in 1942 and 1943. The packages of Eduard limited editions are usually supplemented with photo-etch, painting masks and a rich decal sheet with a number of color options.
The Supermarine Spitfire is one of the most famous fighter aircraft of the Second World War. The Mk.V version was one of the most widely used and was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine; the Mk.Vb sub-variant carried mixed cannon and machine gun armament. Czechoslovak airmen serving in the RAF took part with this type in the defense of Britain and in offensive operations over occupied Europe, and their story is the theme of this edition.
Use liquid cement for plastic and finish the cockpit interior before you close the fuselage up. Apply a primer before painting, lay the colors on with an airbrush in thin coats and pick out the British camouflage with the masks supplied. Seat the decals on a gloss coat and fix them with a decal softener. Because the package holds two models, you can build a pair of machines in different colors.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
