A resin detail accessory from the Czech manufacturer Aires, not a standalone model. The set replaces the standard engine exhaust nozzles of the Panavia Tornado with precisely cast resin parts with faithful nozzle interiors and petals. It is intended for plastic Tornado models in 1:48 scale and brings out the realism of the rear of the engine section.
The package contains cast resin parts for the exhaust nozzles for upgrading a finished plastic model. It assumes the original plastic parts will be cut off and the resin replacements seated. The accessory will be appreciated by modelers who want engine section detail above the level of an ordinary kit.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks off carefully and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Apply a base coat (primer) before painting for better adhesion.
This is an accessory, not a complete kit. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
