A small resin accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, intended to refine the plastic kit of the British BAC TSR.2 prototype in 1:48 scale. It replaces the plastic pitot tube with a finely cast part with a faithful shape and a slender tip.
The TSR.2 was a British experimental tactical strike and reconnaissance aircraft of the 1960s that never got beyond the prototype stage. The long pitot tube on the tip of the nose was one of its characteristic features.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut off the casting block and glue it on with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the surface before painting.
This is an accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The kit itself is not included in the package.
