A detail wheels set for models of the American UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter and its derived versions in 1:48 scale from Reskit. It is not a kit of the helicopter but a separate accessory. The wheels are made in cast resin and by 3D printing and have realistically weighted tires.
The set replaces the kit plastic wheels with more true-to-life parts and can be used across the Black Hawk family, including the versions for ground forces, rescue and special units. The flattened tire gives the impression of a machine resting on the ground.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Shade the tires in a flat black-gray and the hubs in metallic shades with fine highlighting. Sand with respiratory protection.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The kit of the helicopter, glue and paints are not included in the package.
