The set contains two American general-purpose aerial bombs of 500-pound caliber in 1:48 scale. This type of bomb was among the most widely used ordnance of the American and Allied air forces during the Second World War. It is not an aircraft model, but a weapons accessory used to arm the underwing pylons of your model.
Per verified information, each bomb consists of a resin body and a resin tail cone (stabilizer), complemented by photo-etched arming wires and safety propellers on the nose and tail. Also included is a decal sheet with the bombs' stencils (technical markings). The result is noticeably finer than the plastic bombs found in standard kits.
Wash the resin parts to remove release agent and cut off the casting blocks with a razor saw. Glue with cyanoacrylate (super glue). Bend the small photo-etched arming wires on a bending tool. The bombs spray well with an airbrush; apply the stencils from the decal sheet over a slightly glossy surface to avoid silvering at the edges.
