A gramophone suits living room interiors, cafes, salons and officers' quarters. Standing on a table or a cabinet it draws the eye and gives a scene its period setting. In 1:48 scale it is a fine detail that a demanding builder will appreciate.
Given its small and intricate shape, work carefully: wash the mold release agent off the parts, remove the print supports and sand them gently with respiratory protection. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue. Pick out the horn and the body with metal and wood shades; a gloss clear coat gives both the metal and the varnished wood depth. A fine wash emphasizes the detail.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
