SPACE is a detail set from the Czech brand Eduard that combines 3D-printed, full-color decals with steel colored photo-etched parts. It is intended for finishing the cabin interior of a model of the Westland Lysander Mk.I/Mk.III liaison aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but an accessory.
Colored 3D decals of the instrument panel and the side consoles with a raised, three-dimensional effect on the instruments, completed with a photo-etched fret carrying the seat belts and small parts that cannot be done as a decal. The result is a realistic interior with no need for laborious painting of the instruments by hand.
Moisten only the backing paper, lift the 3D decal off it and fix the part with PVA glue onto a clean surface; thanks to the flexible film it follows the shape of the panels well. Bend the etched belts and attach them with super glue. Working with tweezers and using a bender for the photo-etch are recommended. Leave a decal softener for other projects – it would attack this resin print.
This is an accessory, not a kit. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
