A universal photo-etched set from the Czech maker Hauler containing windshield wipers in 1:48 scale. It is not a model or a kit but a small aftermarket accessory. Photo-etched wipers are markedly thinner and more faithful than the coarse plastic parts that tend to come with kits. Because they are conceived as universal, they can be used on a wide variety of vehicles in the matching scale.
It replaces or supplements the wipers on the windshields of military and civilian vehicles alike. The thin profile of photo-etch looks realistic, and the set usually offers several pieces for more than one vehicle or as spares.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, form them gently to shape and bond them with a small amount of super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the brass before painting and apply a primer, then spray with the matching color.
The set does not contain the model itself. It serves as an accessory to plastic vehicle kits; assembly materials are not included in the package.
