A set of workable (articulated) tracks for the Tiger I tank in the early form in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer AFV Club.

This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The set contains single links of the track matching the early form, with which you replace the tracks from the box on models of the Tiger I tank in the smaller 1:48 scale. The links are assembled one by one and form a movable track.
It brings the fine rendering of the links that a soft one-piece track cannot offer. In 1:48 scale it is more demanding work with small parts, but the result adds markedly to the fidelity of the running gear.
Because of the small dimensions work with tweezers and a knife with a sharp blade; glue the links with liquid cement for plastic and leave the joints movable. Paint them in dark steel, rub the contact surfaces gently with graphite and keep the patina restrained, so that the small track is not lost.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
