A decal sheet in 1:48 scale for the Yak-11 trainer. It completes or replaces the markings supplied with the kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Yak-11 is a two-seat trainer with a radial piston engine, derived at the end of the Second World War from the Yakovlev fighters. It served for advanced pilot training in the Soviet Union and with a number of other air forces, and in Czechoslovakia it was built under license under the designation C-11. Thanks to its long service with many users it carried the most varied finishes and markings.
This is a decal sheet in 1:48 scale. The extent of the elements, their layout and the recommended placement on the model follow the manufacturer's instructions.
Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version. A soaked self-adhesive film is ruined, whereas an unsoaked wet decal can be soaked later. On an ordinary wet sheet, cut the element out closely together with the backing paper, soak it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it starts to slide on the backing. Wet the area on the model, bring the decal up to the target edge first and pull the paper out from under it. Adjust the position with a soft brush and blot the surplus water away with a tissue.
The base should be smooth and glossy; on a matte surface a white haze appears under the decal. Over rivets, pressings and rounded transitions a decal softener will help. Once dry, the finished area is coated with varnish, which blends the edges of the decals into the paint.
The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
