This resin set contains the cockpit control stick for the Yakovlev Yak-9. It is not an airplane model but a finely detailed accessory that will replace the simplified plastic part from the kit and raise the accuracy of the cockpit interior.
The Yakovlev Yak-9 was a Soviet fighter from the second half of the war. The control stick was one of the main controls in the cockpit, the one with which the pilot flew the aircraft. A faithfully rendered stick does a great deal to bring an open cockpit on a model to life.
Wash the part to remove mold release, cut off the casting block and clean it up. Bond the stick with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint it to match the interior and bring out the grip and the triggers with light drybrushing.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
