The Zlin Z-50 is a Czech single-seat aerobatic aircraft developed in the 1970s specially for top-level aerobatics and competition. It is notable for a robust structure that withstands high loads, a powerful engine and excellent handling. The Z-50M version was one of the variants of this successful series. With Zlin machines Czechoslovak and foreign pilots alike enjoyed success at world aerobatic championships.
Paint the cockpit and bring it out before the fuselage is closed, and mask the clear glazing while spraying. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. Aerobatic machines tend to have pronounced colorful sporting schemes: apply the paints with an airbrush over a primer, lay the decals on after a gloss varnish and bring out the panel lines gently. Finish the propeller and the landing gear according to the variant you choose.
