Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the Japanese aircraft carrier Kaga in her first configuration, which today is already hard to imagine. The name of the item gives the version with three flight decks, a completely shaped hull and a special edition to which etched metal parts belong.
The Kaga came about by conversion of the laid-down hull of a large surface ship. In her first form she carried three flight decks one above another, of which the lower ones were to allow machines to take off straight from the hangars. Practice showed that the solution does not work, and in the middle of the 1930s the vessel went through a fundamental rebuild to a single continuous deck. It is precisely the older arrangement that makes this model unusual.
Varnish the stepped decks separately and glue them together only after drying, otherwise you will not reach the lower surfaces. Set the transitions between wood and steel with masking tape applied in layers. The side smoke ducts and their grilles are among the finest elements, so work with the metal parts over a surface from which a dropped part can be found.
The parts are supplied unassembled and without paints. Secure the necessary chemicals and a stand separately, unless stated otherwise.
