A set of self-adhesive painting masks cut to the shape of the glazing of a model of the American twin-engine Lockheed P-38 Lightning fighter in the J, L and F versions, in 1:72 scale. The masks follow the framing of the cockpit exactly and make it possible to spray the frames cleanly and sharply without laborious outlining. It is not a model and not paints, but a painting aid meant for models of this aircraft.
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was an American twin-engine fighter with a characteristic twin-boom layout and a central nacelle for the pilot. In the Second World War it proved itself as a fighter and as an escort, reconnaissance and attack machine, above all in the Pacific; the later J and L versions were among the most capable.
Apply the glazing frames onto the clear cockpit part, press them down firmly and spray over them first with the interior color and then with the final camouflage. Lift the mask off while the last coat is still freshly dry, for the sharpest edge.
Paints and the model are not included in the package.
