1:72 Italian Gustavs over Sicily #3 - Bf-109 G in Regia Aeronautica (Part 3)

Italian Gustavs over Sicily No. 3 – Bf 109G, 1:72 (Exotic Decals)

The third part of a series of wet (waterslide) decals in 1:72 scale from Exotic Decals. It is devoted to Messerschmitt Bf 109G fighters in the colors of the Regia Aeronautica from the fighting for Sicily. Printing on a thin gloss carrier film gives good coverage and accurate registration.

The real subject

The Italian Gustavs used over Sicily in 1943 were among the mainstays of the defense of the island. They carried Italian national insignia and unit tactical markings that differed from machine to machine, which is why separate decal sheets are valuable for modelers.

Use

• Dip the cut-out part in lukewarm water for a few seconds.
• Apply onto a smooth gloss varnish and slide it into position.
• Settle it with a decal softener so that it follows the detail of the surface.
• Once dry, overcoat with clear varnish.

Who the set is for

• Modelers of the Bf 109G in 1:72 scale
• Admirers of Italian schemes of the Second World War
• Collectors of aircraft decals

This is a standalone set of decals. The aircraft model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
