1:48 F-35C Lightning II CAMOUFLAGE Kabuki Masks is a set of painting masks from the manufacturer New Ware for masking the glazing and the camouflage of a model of the F-35C carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. Intended for the Tamiya 61127 kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set contains precut painting masks from kabuki paper for a model of the fifth-generation F-35C Lightning II carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. The CAMOUFLAGE version is intended not only for masking the cockpit glazing but also for spraying the camouflage pattern and the transitions between shades on the airframe. The set is intended for the Tamiya 61127 kit.
The masks from thin kabuki paper are cut precisely to the shape of the parts, they follow curved surfaces well and leave no adhesive residue when removed. They allow sharp and clean boundaries when spraying the cockpit frames as well as the division of the surface panels and the shades typical of this aircraft. They save laborious cutting of masking tape and raise the precision of the result.
Transfer the masks with tweezers and press the edges down carefully before spraying, so that paint does not creep under them. Spray in thin coats and remove the masks while the paint is still slightly tacky, for the sharpest edge. The set is intended for a model of the carrier fighter in question in this scale.
This is a set of painting masks, not a kit. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
