A set of modeling paints from the Red Line range aimed at the Finnish Air Force of the Second World War, the second volume of the themed series.
Responsibility details are not available.
During the Second World War the Finnish Air Force flew machines of the most varied origin, from American and French types through British ones to German. What united them was a paint scheme that grew out of local conditions: a dark upper surface against coniferous forests and lakes, and a light underside. That is exactly why Finnish aircraft are painted differently from those of the great air powers, and a themed paint set saves hunting down the individual shades.
A set of modeling paints from the Red Line range, put together for the Finnish Air Force of that period. This is the second volume, so it follows on from an earlier set with the same theme and extends it with further shades. The number of bottles, their volume and a named list of the shades are not stated here.
It suits a modeler who builds Finnish machines and does not want to mix the shades or collect them one at a time from different ranges. The shades in the set are put together to match, so they hold a common tone on one model. It will also serve anyone who builds types the Finns took over from other users and wants to tell them apart precisely by their paint.
A set of paints is supplied. The model, the thinner and the modeling tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and keep out of the reach of children.
